PM SHIFT - SHIFT TIMES MAY VARY.
Intermittent employees are guaranteed NO hours - they must be able to be scheduled per facility needs. Will be scheduled 2 weekend shifts per 2 week pay period as needed. Also must be able to be schduled to work during the week. Will be scheduled every other holiday.
The NA/R position in the Assisted Living provides quality, direct tenant care in all activities of daily living including, but not limited to, dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, walking and positioning. With direction from the Licensed professional Nurse in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the NA/R provides individualized physical, psychological and social support to tenants while maintaining dignity and meeting their needs and expectations. The NA/R interacts with tenants, family, visitors and other members of the assisted living health care team. They further do light housek! eeping.

DUTIES
Dressing, gro! oming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, walking and positioning. Reminds tenants to take medication. Provides laundry services at night as per service minder schedule. Provides light housekeeping tasks of tenant's apartments. Maintains safe clean environment in tenants' apartments, common areas and throughout building. Receives direction from the LPNs. Assists with special duties such as collecting urine and stool specimens, measures weight and height, monitors and records vital signs. Communicates changes in tenant's condition. Responds timely and efficiently to tenants' calls. Provides physical, psychological and social support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to take written and verbal instruction from supervisors. Must be able to communicate with tenants, visitors and staff. Must qualify for em! ployment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
