The purpose of this position is to help people live their lives to the fullest by managing the Managed Transplant Program within the OptumHealth Care Solutions Complex Medical Conditions service delivery enterprise business process.

Major Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and modify as necessary a Product Plan Position based on solid understanding of competitors market position, strengths/weaknesses, and customer needs.• Analyze existing operational processes and develop plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness• Work with clinical operations, sales, underwriting, finance, legal and technology stakeholders as appropriate to implement new business opportunities and key operational initiatives• Analyze market an! d understand size, segments, prospects and buyers. • Set! and track performance metrics and accurate revenue targets within product plan. • Participate in product integration, both functionally and technically. • Identify needed features and delivery options. • Articulate product positioning and value proposition. • Product features defined and specified based on customer feedback, industry trends and research based definition. • Expand product distribution and develop strategies to increase revenue.• Drive planning and execution culture where we build our plans, work our plans, and invest in things that add value to our customers, consumers, and shareholders.• Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements• Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems• Translates concepts into practice• Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues• Coaches, provides feedback and guides others• Acts as a resource for others with l! ess experience• Provide clinical oversight and lead Managed Transplant Program’s clinical management team • Responsible for setting policy and procedure for Managed Transplant Program’s clinical management team• Support implementation process for new clients • Complete additional duties and special project as assigned

Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree in business, marketing, nursing or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. • Minimum 5 years successful business experience in product management, marketing, operations, finance or related field• Working knowledge of employer health plan or benefit operations and systems. • Track record of successfully leading complex projects/programs to conclusion,• Formal training or certification in a project management or operational improvement discipline a strong plus (e.g. PMP, Six Sigma). • Creative problem-solver. Works with minimal gu! idance, seeking guidance on only most complex tasks.• Successful ! in working with others in a complex matrixed environment• Able to plan for contingencies. • Strong analytical background and data orientation.• Successful track record of product planning and execution on complex products.
