Performs the primary functions of a RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluation of the care appropriate to the age of the patients. Responsible for meeting the established standards of nurs! ing practice in regards to patient care, supplies and equipment and coordination work with all members of the health care team.
The IR Nurse acts as the Procedure/Sedation Nurse where he/she is involved in the administration of conscious sedation drugs. Safety and patient monitoring should be a priority. The nurse has to be able to think critically, correlate vital signs, and communicate with the physician throughout the procedure.
Job Qualifications:
Current license with MN Board of Nursing
BLS and ACLS certified
2 years min. of Critical Care RN experience Required.
