NP-Hospitalist
Location: Duluth Minnesota
Description: Essentia Health is currently seeking to employ NP-Hospitalist right now, this job will be placed in Minnesota. Detailed specification about this job opportunity kindly read the description below. Established, 22-physician and 3 NP/PA hospitalist program at St. Mary’s Medical Center and SMDC Medical Center located on the same campus and connected via skywalk system. 24 hour onsite presence. The new Adva! nced Practice Provider hired for this position will assist physicians in patient rounding, medical education, discharge planning and disposition. This person would also participate in quality initiatives.
Days, evenings, weekends and holidays, willing to accommodate personal schedules etc.

Nurse Practitioner Education/Experience
1. Masters degree in nursing-Acute Care, Adult, Geriatric or Family
2. Experience preferred Licensure/Credentials
1. Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
2. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.
3. Current certification in CPR.
4. National certification in applicable area.
5. Successful completion of SMDC credentialing process prior to practi! ce.
Physician Assistant
Education/Experience!
1. Bachelor’s degree in a health/science-related field.
2. Experience preferred
Licensure/Credentials
1. Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.
2. Current certification in CPR.
3. National certification.
4. Successful completion of SMDC credentialing process prior to practice.
