Clinics - PS (Staff) - Spanning across the St. Paul area! , HealthEast Clinics allow for the capability and diversity to offer a full range of services for patients of all ages. Services include, family and internal medicine, pediatrics, Osteoporosis Care, Endocrinology, Podiatry, Geriatric Care, Certified Nurse Midwifery, and Osteopathic Care. The staff comprised of board certified physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives, nurses, certified medical assistants, lab and x-ray technicians as well as other staff members are dedicated to providing the high quality compassionate care that makes the HealthEast Clinics the East Metro’s primary care network.

WOODBURY CLINIC The multispecialty Woodbury Clinic offers primary care services for the entire family. The Woodbury Clinic provides family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, podiatry and nurse midwifery all in one convenient location. In addition to our primary care physicians, the clinic medical staff includes certified nurse practiti! oners. The clinic, located on the Woodwinds Health Campus, pro! vides state-of-the-art technology in a comfortable setting.

Work Hours/Schedule(For Example: 7:00am-3:30pmor Every other weekend) 9:30 - 6:00
Primary Function & Major Responsibilities Responsible for the accurate and timely performance of designated laboratory procedures, EKGs, audiograms, spirometery, and other procedures as defined by the clinic.Performs and evaluates diagnostic testing to provide accurate and reliable laboratory results.Treats abnormal results according to policies and procedures.Performs clerical functions accurately to ensure accurate test ordering and reportin! g of patient results.Review, follows and understands established laboratory quality assurance and quality control procedures.Performs and documents maintenance and troubleshooting procedures on laboratory instrumentation to ensure proper operation.Performs specimen collection and processing to ensure the accurate and appropriate performance of patient testing while maintaining patient dignity, comfort and confidentiality.Complies with laboratory safety and infection control policies to ensure a safe work environment.Utilizes appropriate measures to provide patient safety.Assists in the maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function and availability.Maintains department aesthetics to ensure proper function and availability.Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an MLT/CLA or MLT program.Must meet CLIA 88 specifications.ASCP or NCA eligible.
Experience:
One! to two years clinical experience preferred. X-Ray experience a plus.Sp! ecial Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of routine laboratory procedures, techniques and instruments.Possesses skills and knowledge to operate fixed radiographic equipment.Trained in other procedures as required by clinic.Ability to perform work requiring manual dexterity.Good communication skills.Ability to work independently.Good organizational skills.Be able to lift 50 pounds.Regular/Temporary
