This position serves to meet the needs of the residents residing at Homestead Rehab and Living Center. These needs include, but are not limited to:
1. Activities of daily living: dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulating
2. Psychosocial needs: demonstrating displays of dignity and respect, providing privacy, knocking on room doors before entering, visiting throughout day while providing cares, avoiding talking over the resident, assisting with activities as needed, responding timely to needs and call lights
JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides ADL assistance to staff responsible for patient care delivery.
Requires the ability to accurately collect data and communicate pertinent i! nformation to the LPN/RN.
Must foster an environment ! of teamwork.
Functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse and reports to the Nurse Manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Nursing Assistant Certificate and State of Minnesota Certification
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
