As the General Manager, you will oversee our food operations and become a leader of the hospital’s wellness initiative. Winona Health is a nonprofit organization located in beautiful southeastern Minnesota and it is operated by a local, volunteer Board of Directors. It is made up of a 99 bed hospital, a 140 bed nursing home as well as two assisted living communities that include 80 apartments combined.

This will eventually involve training and promoting healthy cooking and eating as well as educating the community on lifestyle programs focusing on weight management and fitness.
Your success will be measured by:
- Ensuring that the entire Production Staff is trained! in Sodexo's Culinary Basics program.
- Developing and ! implementing a Long Term Care menu that will promote and support the wellness and health of all residents
- Implementing new Sodexo programs that continuously improve service levels including patient and customer satisfaction
Above all, the ideal candidate has a passion for leading and educating teams as they progress along the path of excellence and innovation. Additionally, this individual must possess a passion for wellness, they must be familiar with Sodexo wellness programs such as Mindful and they must have a strong culinary and nutritional background. Preferred candidates have had formal training in nutrition with a RD or CDM certifications.
This position is located in Winona, a city located in the picturesque bluff country on the edge of the! Mississippi River with numerous recreational opportunities and a wide range of educational choices as well as a thriving arts community. The closest metropolitan area is Rochester, only 53 miles away.
Position Summary:
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
