More complete informations about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. for a Behavioral Health Practice A full-time, highly motivated patient representative who wants to help people get better, make a difference in health care, and expand their career opportun! ities. We are looking for an individual with Experience in servicing high-value customers; Eagerness to learn, solve problems, and adapt to a fast-paced environment; Experience working in an outpatient physician practice and experience in medical coding and billing a plus; Service-oriented, collaborative, empathetic, and attention-to-detail personality; Excellent communication and organizational skills and comfort with technology; We are committed to delivering high quality care and service to our patients, providers, and payer partners. As a patient representative, you will be at the front line of creating a positive, satisfying experience for our customers and contributing to the entire revenue cycle. You will be an essential part of our patients ’ care team through these roles: Direct and resolve patient and provider calls; Communicate with Third-Party payers regarding claim status, reimbursement and eligibility/benefits.
Provide excellent service to help pati! ents manage their health care budgets; Schedule and confirm pa! tient follow-up appointments; Direct the flow of electronic clinical information, like faxes or email requests; Update medical records with new demographic and clinical information; Support the end-to-end billing process including performing eligibility checks, submitting claims, assembling patient statements, posting payment; Establishing budget plans and resolving delinquent accounts. Learn and become an expert in our cloud-based, integrated electronic medical record and billing software; Contribute feedback to improve our workflow and technology; Help with general clerical support.
