• 80 hrs/pp, 8:00am-5:00pm, evenings as needed, nights as needed, weekends as needed, holidays as needed, on-call as needed, some travel for meetings may occur.

As a member of the Dialysis team! , has responsibility for coordinating the delivery and provision of patient care as well as the operations of the unit in which that care occurs.

Shares department responsibility for leadership, planning, implementing, and evaluating.

Responsible for services to patients of ages typically 14 years or older.

Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards.

Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.

Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree

from an accredited school of nursing

required

.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of three years experience in clinical nursing, with 6 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.

Demonstrated skills of organizational management, leadership, c! ommunication, and clinical expertise.

SPECIAL REQUIRE! MENTS

Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of

Minnesota

required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

CNN obtained within first 12 months of employment.

Active membership in ANNA preferred.

Leadership Development Courses listed under “New Leader Orientation” on

CentraNet completed within 18 months. Is ineligible for hospital clinical ladder participation, but functions at Level 3, 4.
