- Must be able to rea! d, write and speak effectively in English.
- Completion of first year of Pharm.D. curriculum from an accredited school of pharmacy and a licensed pharmacy intern with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
- Certified pharmacy technician
- Minnesota pharmacy technician registration
The Pharmacist Intern assists in the daily operations and customer service of the pharmacy, as directed by the Pharmacist and allowed by law. Additional responsibilities, under the direction of the pharmacist, may include assisting with the medication distribution and clinical pharmacy activities for nursing and support departments within the hospital, and being responsible for safe and efficient methods for coordination of established pharmacy policies concerning patient care and medication reconciliation. Actively and consistently demonstrates the values an! d guiding principles of Maple Grove Hospital.
