Anoka Technical College is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor who is skilled in using active and experiential learning strategies; has great enthusiasm for teaching and learning; has a strong commitmen! t to creating a student-centered environment and the ability to differentiate instruction across multiple levels and learning styles.
- Provide classroom and clinical instruction days, evenings, and on-line. · Evaluate and advise students. · Maintain consistent communications with students through office hours, email, and telephone. · Plan, develop, and deliver curriculum. · Participate in the larger college community through a variety of activities. · Support the mission, vision, and core values of Anoka Technical College. · Promote diversity and cultural competency. · Perform other duties as assigned by the Academic Dean or the VP of Academic and Student Affairs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Two full-time years (or equivalent) o! f verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse ! at the professional level.
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Must qualify for MnSCU Credentialing in Practical Nursing - Code 500040. - Master’s degree in Nursing. · Two years teaching and/or training experience. · Two years teaching experience in a college setting. · Demonstrated experience with assessment of student learning. · Demonstrated experience developing curriculum. · Coursework in teaching pedagogies and! preparation in principles and methods of evaluation. · Experience with D2L or other online course management platform. · Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.
