Additional responsibilities of the Director of Nursing include:

• Conducting and administering fiscal operations, including accounting, planning budgets, and authorizing expenditures
• Directing, supervising and evaluating work activities of healthcare personnel
• Reviewing and analyzing facility activities and data to aid planning and to improve service utilization
• Directing or conducting recruitment, hiring and training of personnel

QUALIFICATIONS :
To qualify for the Director of Nursing, you must have effective communication skills and be able to work with individuals of all ages and be able to lead a team of healthcare professionals.

Additional requirements of the Director of Nursing include:

• Current active and valid Licensure or certification
• Bachelor’s De! gree, preferred
• Excellent communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize with good interpersonal skills
• CPR Certification or ability to achieve upon employment
• Basic Computer Skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You will provide oversight to nursing services for 54 residents and a full complement of nursing employees.
