Hours for this role will vary between 0-40+ hours per week. This position will involve training at RedBrick’s offices in Downtown Minneapolis and most of the work! will be done in the Minneapolis office with the possibility o! f working remote or from home from time to time. The majority of this role will involve phone interaction with participants. Essential Job Functions The Health Advisor appointment is a one-time fifteen minute health and wellness focused phone call with a scheduled individual.
During the call the Health Advisor will review the Health Risk Assessment and Biometric Screening results, identifying abnormal and high risk results, and provide resources to consumers on reducing these risks. The Health Advisor will also promote and motivate their clients to enroll and engage in other appropriate RedBrick programs and coordinate with other health management programs offered by the participant’s health plan, employer’s health management program, community andor other activities as identified. Additionally, the Health Advisor will answer questions about RedBrick Health, its products, and the employer’s specific incentive design. This role may be asked to assist in other ! areas of health and wellness program development as the need arises.Essential Job Requirements Education Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a health related field CertificationLicense in specific field (an area of specialty such as RN, exercise physiologist, nutritionist, other) Three to five years experience in fields related to health advisor role preferred, including experience with nurse line, disease management etc.
Two to four years experience with individual behavior change management or motivational interviewing. Experience with implementing and presenting a health focused curriculum for a population. Ability to conduct individual advising sessions that create a comfortable and confidential environment for consumers Possess a Advisor style that supports personal-driven goal setting and change Preventative care minded Ability to work autonomously as well as with a team Empathic Motivated with a demonstrated results orientation and a! bility to execute on goals High energy Willing to hold people accountab! le Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship management skills (both verbal and written) Able to create original motivational healthy living content Illustrates healthy behaviors in their life Possess knowledge of a wide variety of health concerns and approaches to drive towards change and positive outcomes Comfortable working with a diverse consumer population Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Continuous Quality Improvement driven and works to streamline processes, procedures and programs. Able and willing to learn new computer programs Enjoys a challenge and is highly flexible Ability to multi-task with a high level of organization Employee Status Regular, Exempt, Part-time.
