Description: Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota is at present looking to employ RN - Staffing and Bed Coordinator right now, this position will be placed in Minnesota. More details about this position opportunity please read the description below. Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota is seeking a Staffing and Bed Coordinator. The Staffing and Bed Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the t! ransfer and acceptance of patients from regional hospitals and clinics to Sanford Hospitals. This position facilitates bed placement and feedback to referring physicians and/or facilities. Assist with development of nursing schedules.Education, Experience, Skills (Minimum Requirement): Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing.
Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Must have 5 years experience in nursing, or five years of nursing administration experience. Must be able to work independently, multi-task, and have strong communication, computer, and problem solving skills.Licensure/Certification Requirement: Requires current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, of practice. Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside.
Certification may be required depending on specialty or service area.
