For more than 60 years, our team of care providers at Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (SKRI), part of Allina Health, has been serving patients with short- and long-term conditions or disab! ilities. Each year, more than 70,000 patients seek our nationa! lly recognized care at one of our five Minnesota hospitals, Sister Kenny Sports & Physical Therapy Centers, Sister Kenny Spine Centers or Kenny Kids locations throughout the Twin Cities area and rural communities. Follow-up and specialized outpatient care is provided through Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Associates, the largest physiatrist practice in the Twin Cities. They provide inpatient and outpatient care at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, and United Hospital, St. Paul. SKRI is CARF accredited.
Sister Kenny Research Center conducts research in brain injuries, injury/fall prevention, low back pain, spinal cord injury, stroke rehabilitation and technology/device development and commercialization to improve the care we provide to our patients.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Clinical Director of Programs and Services the Manager of Clinical Programs and Services assures that all the Courage Kenny programs and services are providi! ng evidence based, top decile practice, based on that standard. This position works in tandem with the physician chair and vice chair of each program to foster and advance the care of patients and clients across the continuum. Working closely with physicians, clinicians, and various stakeholders this position assures for efficient and effective structures, processes and outcomes representing Courage Kenny inpatient care. Assuring participation at all levels and promoting communication and feedback mechanisms throughout the organization, this position leverages research, evidence and operations to position each service line to achieve the triple aim.
Education
Masters Degree in a Nursing or Clinical discipline
Qualifications
Experience:
Understands how to integrate education, quality and research into programmatic design and criteria in a matrixed environment Able to understand, analyze, interpret and share data to achieve outco! mes and goals Minimum of 5 years in a health care setting with matrixed! reporting responsibilities Able to foster positive working relationships with medical staff, professionals and team members Able to work and succeed in a matrixed environment Able to work in a consultative manner focusing on capturing and generating ideas and making recommendations without directing Solid understanding of quality, research and education tenets Skills:
Able to pull evidenced based research into practice Able to communicate (verbal and written) effectively to various audiences Excellent organizational and analytical skills Computer skills and knowledge base (hardware and software)
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
