Responsibilities
Oversee the day to day operations of Surgical Services.
Education
Bachelor's degree in nursing required
4 year degree in administration or related field preferred
Master's degree in business, health care administration, or related field strongly preferred
State of MN nursing license
Certification in Nursing Administration or CNOR preferred
Qualifications
Experience
3-5 years hospital leadership experience required
5+ years of previous OR nursing experience preferred
Skills
Demonstrated leadership capacity in acute health care setting
Recognized kno! wledge and business acumen in health care
Competent in strategic and business planning
Performance improvement and achievement of results
Established innovator and change agent
Development of key partnerships with physicians, staff and colleagues
Proven ability to develop leaders and staff
Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
