The Nurse Practitioner! provides a variety of services when delivering patient care.
Duties and functions of the Nurse Practitioner include, but are not limited to:
Provision of skilled nursing care to the patients of the center
Admission and discharge of patients
Utilize nursing processes of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluations
Educate patients regarding their surgical experience, including how to prepare for the procedure and what to expect afterwards.
Coordinate patient care schedule.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program required.
Experience in Orthopedics preferred.
Current licensure as a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner in the State of Minnesota.
Current DEA license required.
Current BCLS and ACLS/ PALS certification required.
Previous experience relevant to the area of clinical ! practice preferred.
Basic computer literacy.
! Affiliation with representative professional organization encouraged.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
