Hours: Full-time tempor! ary position for our St. Paul location, mid-December through April 2014 (Mon. 9:30am â€" 6:00pm; Tues & Wed. 8:30am â€" 5pm; Thurs. 10am â€" 7pm; Fri. 9:00am â€" 5:30pm). There is potential to remain on-call to fill in as needed after April. Primary tasks include: Transport patients between hospital unit and therapy clinic; Set up specialty equipment such as the Locomat; Environment of care â€" wiping down equipment, putting away equipment, checking inventory, keeping clinical spaces organized; Assisting therapist with treatment.
Job Objective/Purpose:
To provide support to the provision of therapy services before, during and after the appointment through maintenance of the environment of care, patient care assistance, and administrative support.
Qualifications
Ability to complete job responsibilities in a safe and timely manner; independently without direct supervision.
Ability to provide excellent customer service to patients, fam! ilies, and internal customers.
Sensitivity to and knowledg! e of the impact of illness and disability for children and families.
Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience or qualifications preferred.
Must have current CPR certification or obtain certification within 90-days of hire.
