EDUCATION
Graduate from an accredited school ! of nursing required. Baccalaureate or Masters in Nursing
preferred

EXPERIENCE
Emergency nursing experience preferred.
Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, procedure and hospital ethics.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (
ACLS
) obtained within 12 months of hire.
Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC) and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanc! ed Life Support (PALS) required within 18 months of hire.
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) course may be substituted for TNCC per unit guidelines.
Certified Emergency Nurse (
CEN
) preferred.
