Saint Therese of New Hope a long term care facility is currently looking for nursing assistants to join our growing nursing department.
Must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Basic Function: Performs a variety of resident related direct care duties, such as transporting, transfe! rring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming residents, encouraging highest level of independence, validating residents concerns, etc
DUTIES
Major Responsibilities:
1.Provides direct personal care services for residents according to the resident's respective Plan of Care to enhance and maintain the highest quality of life and level of functioning.
2.Maintains clean and orderly physical environment.
3.Communicates respectfully with other members of the resident care team.
4.Promotes safety and follows all safety procedures and protocols.
5.Participates in educational programs per State and Facility requirements.
6.Performs all duties consistent with Quality Standards and Infection Control practice.
7.Performs all job functions within State and Federal regulations.
8. Performs related duties as assigned by Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualificat! ions:
Education: Successful completion of a Sta! te approved program in compliance with
the Nurse Assistant Training Act. Must be registered with the State of Minnesota.
Experience: Related experiences (Home Health Aide, Assistant, Dietary Aide) helpful, but not necessary.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Meets Minnesota State Standards for CEU's per year per Facility Policy. Major Responsibilities:
