We are currently seeking an experienced, creative, and forward-thinking Video Designer/Editor with a specialization in creating engaging content tailored for YouTube, tik-tok, and Facebook-style ads. As a Video Editor, you will have a good eye for detail and a level of creativity that sets you out from the rest. You will work closely with our creative team to transform raw footage into compelling video content that captures the narrative and engages our target audience across these prominent online platforms. If you're a detail-oriented, creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for storytelling through video, we want you to be an integral part of our team!
The Video Editor must be highly organized and have a wide range of editing skills and capabilities. The Video Editor must have a strong understanding and comfortable working through the entire post production process creating high quality creative solutions. You are responsible for creating compelling videos, social media content, and short and long-form videos. Show casing storytelling abilities driving engagement across any platform.
JOB DUTIES/ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?
- Review and organize video assets, maintaining an efficient file structure.
- Must be familiar with all, if not most, of the company’s footage for the purpose of content creation.
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, professional-quality videos.
- Edit short-form video content from storyboards supported heavily from b-roll & motion graphics.
- Collaborate closely with creative team to develop, produce, review, revise and deliver. Contributing to each part of the process.
- Create visually appealing graphics and animations.
- Select and incorporate suitable music, visual effects, and sound effects to enhance videos.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing techniques and industry trends
- Provide fast turnaround for edit projects, while maintaining accuracy and excellence in the production.
- Offer creative input and suggest improvements to enhance video content
SKILLS
- Experience sifting through large volumes of footage and creating concise and compelling stories from footage.
- Experience editing short form content for various platforms including TikTok, Reels, YouTube shorts, Facebook, etc.
- Experience editing VSL style ads
- Ability to edit multiple pieces of content weekly
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, photoshop to enhance video quality, color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with industry trends and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
