Interim Physicians has a great locums job opportunity for a board certified/eligible Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician at a hospital in Minnesota. Family Practice and Internal Medicine physicians must have experience in Emergency Medicine. The coverage will start in August and will be ongoing.
JOB DETAILS
The facility has a full nursing staff available to support and CRNAs are available for intubations and airway management. A primary care physician on-call is responsible for all admits and the surgeon on-call is responsible for trauma. The EM physicians are responsible for code blue only if non-critical patients are in the ER.
+ Level III trauma center
+ Single coverage
+ 9,000 annual volume
+ Approximately 1 patient per hour
+ 4-8 shifts per month ongoing (7 a.m. to 7 p.m./7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
+ 24 hour shifts are available
