beginning with the LPN Nursing progra! m at Anoka Technical College, ADN Nursing program at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and ultimately articulating to BSN programs provided by university partners. The Associate Dean will represent the two colleges with three campuses to the Minnesota Board of Nursing, Minnesota Department of Health, and the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission. The Associate Dean will work in coordination with the Academic Vice President at each college on aligning program offerings to increase options for students who enter either program as well as coordinate efforts with university partners for baccalaureate nursing options. The Associate Dean will lead energetic faculty to complete all activities related to teaching and learning, including, but not limited to: instructional planning, and maintaining and building relationships with clinical sites.
Minimum & Perferred Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed Master’s degree in Nursing. ! Current RN License. Teaching experience in higher education an! d three to five years experience in an administrative or leadership role. Demonstrated experience working with accreditation standards/requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of issues relevant to Nursing and the current trends that influence LPN and ADN within the healthcare industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctoral degree relevant to the position. Demonstrated leadership experience in a higher education setting. Demonstrated leadership and experience supporting the teaching and learning process through innovative solutions and developing curriculum, particularly multi-cultural, gender- and disability fair curriculum. Demonstrated knowledge of diverse cultures and populations.

Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Cambridge and Coon Rapids, and Anoka Technical College, Anoka, MN officially aligned July, 2011. The alignment of the two colleges (three campuses) created the largest community and technical college ent! ity in Minnesota, serving more than 16,000 learners annually as they pursue associate degrees that transfer as the first two years of a bachelor's degree, or technical degrees and certificate programs that lead immediately to rewarding careers. In addition, the Professional and Workforce Training division for both colleges provided 7,101 people more than 95,280 hours of courses or training in FY2011. Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College are members of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System.
