Position Details: Primary responsibilities include the provision of primary care services to adult veterans of all ages. This includes the assessment of health status and needs by a comprehensive health history and physical examination. This includes the review of all body systems, i! nterpretation of all patient data to identify health problems ! (s) and make recommendations for appropriate treatment within the outpatient clinic setting or by telephone / written communication. Physician review and co-signature is required for pre-operative history and physicals.
Experience/Qualifications Needed: Qualified candidates must possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in one of the 50 states in the U.S., or District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. Territory.Must maintain current basic life support (BLS)Hours: Standard Tour of Duty Hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday excluding National Holidays and Weekends.
