Responsibilities
!
Practices professional nursing to provide patient care through the use of the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluations
Provides coordination of all nursing are from the point of admission through discharge
Works in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team members
Appropriately delegates nursing care to other direct care team members
The Emergency Department continuously provides a multi-disciplinary approach to emergency medical care and education to meet the diverse physical, emotional, and educational needs of the community in a safe, respectful environment
The Emergency Department provides care in a 24 hour/7 day a week basis and contributes a large percentage of admissions to the inpatient units
** Will be cross trained to the Observation unit**
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Graduate of a MN Board approved scho! ol
BSN preferred
Previous or current ED or Critical Care experience required
Skills

RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility.
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
Part time position 32 hours per week
Day/Evening shift 07-1530; 09-1730; 1500-2300
! Weekend Rotation: Every other
