Our Nancy Page Crisis Residence is searching for a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (900005). This program provides ! residential mental health crisis stabilization services to adults with mental illness who may also have other behavioral problems and/or chemical abuse/dependency issues. Primary treatment occurs both internally and externally with specialized services provided by community and program professionals.
The hours for the role are Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
DUTIES
The LPN is responsible for the daily coordination of physical health needs and medications of the Recipients served at the program. The LPN will:
Track and order medications
Take telephone orders
Participate in appropriate groups
Assist in the admission of recipients on the shift
All employees must commit to attend monthly all-staff meetings, supervision, and required trainings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications:
Current License as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota
AND
6,000 hours expe! rience in the delivery of services to individuals with mental ! illness
OR
Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field
2,000 hours of experience in the delviery of services to individuals with mental illness.
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to work independently
Successful collaborations on interdisciplinary teams
Proficient in the use of electronic health records
