Program Description
The Services for Persons With Special Needs (SPSN) division is dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities of any age. Support services may be provided in the consumer's home, in their local community or in a foster-care, residential setting provided by Volunteers of America.

Description
Primary Duty:
Responsible for the supervision and management of the program residents. Accountable for the implementation of treatm! ent plans and documentation of resident's functioning within t! he treatment environment.
Our SERVICES FOR PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS program has a part time position available in Rock Creek. This position is working one on one with an individual in their home 2 evenings per week, 3:30-6:30pm. CNA experience is preferred. The starting wage is $10.25 per hour.

Position Requirements
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- BA/BS in Social Service Field preferred
- Nursing experience preferred
- Behavior management; limit setting
- Crisis intervention techniques
- Valid drivers license with a good driving record
