Description: Fairview Health Services is currently seeking to employ NST - NC right now, this position will be placed in Minnesota. More complete informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Seven shifts per 2 week period, 8 hour shifts, varied day and evening start times. Work under direction of nursing personnel to provie patient care while functioning as a Nursing Station Tech in our Peri-an! esthesia department. Duties may include: transporting patients, patient cares, vitials, answering call lights, welcoming and rooming patients, care of environment, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining rooms, use of equipment, phones, clerical, and coordinate the flow of communication on the unit. May work as a Patient Care Attendant.
Job Qualifications:
Completed NA training required. Excellent customer service, communication skills, computer competency. Previous exprience in patient care (CNA, PCA, PCT) required. Desk coordinator/HUC/Medical Terminology experience strongly preferred.
Requires ability to provide written validation of current basic life support competency or ability to obtain written validation within 30 days of hire.
Physical demands: Sitting, standing, walking, lifting -max 35lbs, push/pull-max. 35 lbs, balance, stooping/crouching, grasping, writing, finger dexterity/keyboarding, reaching, color vision, operate m! achinery, physical presence at work
