Patient Care Technician - Dialysis

Provides direct patient care for individuals under the direction of the RN. The Dialysis Department will service patients with temporary to permanent renal failure and the entities thereof. Travels as necessary to other dialysis units. Serves patients ages typically 14 through geriatric. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards.

EDUCATION
High school degree or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
EXPERIENCE!
Previous dialysis experience preferred. Basic math comput! ation skills required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation.
Certified by a MN State or National program as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician within 18 months of hire.
A valid Minnesota drivers license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required.
