Admissions and Marketing Director

This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential referral sources, customers, family members, and others in the commun! ity. This person will utilize a variety of solicitation methods including advertising, community events, and online media.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate relationship building and maintain contact with hospitals and referral sources in the local and surrounding communities
Be aware of Evergreen Terrace’s daily census and work to maintain a census which is at or above the facility’s monthly goals
To be knowledgeable of waiting lists at surrounding facilities and potential referral sources to determine if placement at Evergreen Terrace may be appropriate for those individuals
Provide tours of the facility
Conduct pre-placement screens of potential admits
Meet with new residents and their families to complete admission and discharge paperwork
Communicate with all departments in the facility in relation to admissions
Ensure that rooms are ready for the admission
Coordinate with! Environment Services to assure there are “show rooms†ava! ilable for tours
Work with billing regarding insurance
Work closely with Social Services and Nursing to determine appropriate placement, room assignment, and roommates
Develop and maintain admission and discharge tracking to identify trends and areas of concern
Regular participation in marketing meetings held at the facility
Update admissions packets as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people and personalities
Great attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of Medicare, MA, MSHO
3 years experience, preferrably in a long term care facility
4 year degree in business or related field
Licensure in Nursing or Social Work is preferred
