Position Summary:
This is a Part- Time, On-Call, Temporary position with RedBrick Health. Hours for this role will vary between 0-40+ hours per week. This position will involve training in the Minneapolis Downtown office and the work w! ill be done in this office with the Possibility of working fro! m home from time to time. The majority of this role will involve phone interaction with participants. The ideal start date for this role would be within 2-3 weeks. The length of this contract would potentially be between 3-9 months.
Essential Job Functions:
The Health Advisor appointment is a one-time fifteen minute health and wellness focused phone call with a scheduled individual. During the call the Health Advisor will review the Health Risk Assessment and Biometric Screening results, identifying abnormal and high risk results, and provide resources to consumers on reducing these risks.
The Health Advisor will also promote and motivate their clients to enroll and engage in other appropriate RedBrick programs and coordinate with other health management programs offered by the participant's health plan, employer's health management program, community and/or other activities as identified.
Additionally, this individual will be qualified! and have the resources to answer all the questions about RedBrick Health, our products, and the employer's-specific incentive design. This role may be asked to assist in other areas of health and wellness program development as the need arises.
Essential Job Requirements:
Health Advisors will have expertise in health education, specific lifestyle habits and/or a nursing background with experience in coaching individuals in improving their health status.
Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a health related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Certification/License in specific field (an area of specialty such as RN, exercise physiologist, nutritionist, other)
Experience: One to three years experience in fields related to health advisor role preferred, including: nurse line, disease management etc.
One to three years experience with individual behavior change management, motivational interviewing and ! health coaching
Experience with implementing and presenting a ! health focused curriculum for a population
Ability to conduct individual coaching/ advising sessions that create a comfortable and confidential environment for consumers
Possess a Coaching/ Advisor style that supports personal-driven goal setting and change
Preventative care minded
Ability to work autonomously as well as with a team
Empathic
Motivated with a demonstrated results orientation and ability to execute on goals
High energy
Willing to hold people accountable
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship management skills (both verbal and written)
Illustrates healthy behaviors in their life
Knowledge of a wide variety of health concerns and approaches to drive towards change and positive outcomes
Comfortable working with a diverse consumer population
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Contin! uous Quality Improvement driven and works to streamline processes, procedures and programs.

Training:
Training for Health Advisors will be consistent with other areas of the RedBrick Health Clinical Services team including On Site Health Coaches and Health Advocates and includes:

System access and use:
Health Advisors will be trained and have access to the same systems used in support of all consumers, including:
Coach portals
Internal support ! systems (e.g., Knowledgebase)
Ability to access the consumer w! eb portal and use consumer tools
