Performs a large variety of technical nursing care procedures and treatments that utilize appropriate judgment and priority setting in delivery of patient care while conducting and monitoring clinical studies.
DUTIES

oFollows sta! ndardized teaching protocols.
- Collects, calculate! s, measures, and documents data.
- Provide a safe, aseptic, comfortable environment for patients and study subjects.
- May solicit participation and assess potential candidacy of research subjects.
- Provides education regarding the study and coordinates testing and assessment schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be completion of a degree and current Minnesota state license as a registered nurse and two (2) years clinical nursing experience in a related field. HIV interest/experience preferred.
Skill, Knowledge & Ability (SKA):
Requires interaction with a diverse population. Skilled in nursing observation and assessment, intervention, and implementation, and patient care. Skilled in data organization and analysis. Knowledge of nursing theory and process; knowledge of theories and principles of clinical research. Ability to organize workload, work independently, problem solve and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication. Ability to adapt to changing environments. ! Displays high standards of attendance, punctuality, maintains confident! iality, and manages time effectively.
