This position provides emergency nursing care for a diversified population of all age distributions (infant to geriatrics) and all problem types in a very busy Emergency Room. The Fairview Ridges ER processe s 65,000 cases per year, with an average of 198 patients seen daily. The position duties include assessment, care planning, interventions, and teaching. New positions added due to volumes/growth.
This is a day/evening/night FLEX position, 8 hour shifts with every other weekend. Benefit eligible.

Job Qualifications:
Required
Current MN RN licensure or eligible for reciprocity by start date
1 year of Emergency Department, pediatric/ adult critical care, or telemetry nursing RN experience
Requires ability to provide written validation of current basic life support competency
Ability to provide current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) and TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) will be required of all staff within the first year of employment. CEN encouraged
Strong computer skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a diverse patient population
Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred
BSN preferred or willingness to obtain in future
Emergency room nursing experience strongly preferred
Additional:
Must be able to provide proof of Graduation with highest nursing college degree (either by copy of diploma or transcripts).
