Account Manager- Grocery Retail


 

This is a full-time position with a full wage range of $19.23 - $28.84 per hour with eligibility for a quarterly bonus. Starting salary is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience and performance.


Who We Are:

We partner with brands in the natural/organic food and beverage industry to optimize their retail presence in Whole Foods Market locations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will represent a portfolio of up to 50 brands in the Organic/Natural Food and Beverage industry, such as: Perfect Bar, Vital Farm Eggs, Evolution Fresh Juices.
  • You will work approximately 40 hours per week, making 10 store visits per week, Monday through Friday starting between 5am-7am.
  • You will be in charge of building and maintaining a consistent route of weekly store visits to Whole Foods Market locations in the Washington, D.C. area: Arlington, Springfield, Florida Ave, P Street, H Street, South Cap, Foggy Bottom, Pentagon, and Old Town. Locations are subject to change based on the needs of the business.
  • The ideal geographic location for a candidate to reside is central Washington, D.C. or Arlington, VA.
  • You will be responsible for growing brands in your portfolio and maintaining the highest level of retail standards:
    • Build relationships with retail leaders to promote brands during weekly visits.
    • Maintain proper communication strategies with retail partners via email, call, text, or in-person conversations.
    • Report in real-time on brand updates via an application called Go Spot Check.
    • Ensure that products are merchandised to the brands standards.
    • Perform basic shelf maintenance: facing/fronting, tag compliance, and proper signage.
