Job Description
Valor Merchant Services is looking for a Territory Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and the drive to exceed goals. The Territory Manager will be responsible for selling Valor Merchant Services products in their assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, an ability to work independently, and a track record of exceeding goals. Candidate must be comfortable in a 1099 commission position in a full-time capacity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Establish strong relationships with customers by providing the highest level of customer service
- Achieve sales goals and objectives within budgeted targets
- Identify opportunities for training and development, as well as cross-training opportunities
- Manage all sales-related paperwork in order to maximize efficiency and compliance
- Maintain effective communication with customers through open communication methods (e.g. phone, email)
- Develop new business through networking within the industry
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven successful experience that includes or requires sales responsibility, product knowledge, performance metrics, and closing techniques in a territory based business model
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and objectives within budgeted targets with proven ability to achieve quotas through aggressive marketing strategies and customer acquisition strategies
- Proven ability to create winning campaigns that generate new business with strong closing skills (this is not required but preferred)
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) required; customer service oriented; organizational skills required; multi-tasking skills required; computer skills required; ability to learn new software quickly

Pay: $65,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
