OVERVIEW
A Live Stream Operator prepares the Live stream, ensures it stays running, and assists the live host.
But what does that mean?
If you start the day, you will ensure all cameras, lights, sound equipment, and computer software are ready to stream. During the live, you manage comments, help the live host during the live, analyze viewer data in real-time, and troubleshoot any issues. If you start later in the day, you will work with the current live stream operator until they leave. When ending the night, you will end the live and make sure everything is charging, and everything is ready for the morning shift.
During the overlap period with two operators working, you might work on other tasks if needed. We try to keep things light, so the focus is on the live.
Live Stream Operators will also have a better opportunity to move into a Live Host position if this is a path they desire.
WHAT WE WILL BE SELLING
Luxury Handbags will be the first category we start this new company with. Once we get going, we will venture into other categories. Kyzler LLC is a joint venture between two companies, Highalnd and DezLin. We both work in multiple categories, such as Crystals, Purses, Bath Bombs, Oysters with Pearls inside, Jewelry, Makeup, Clothing, and more.
YOUR MISSION
- Prepare and maintain the live stream
- Manage any customer questions on the backend
- Analyze real-time data to make adjustments on the fly
- After the live session, you will evaluate its successes and areas of improvement with your live host and any managers
MISC DETAILS
To ensure a comprehensive understanding of our products and processes, you will assist in packaging and product preparation from time to time. This firsthand experience will enable you to better understand the entire workflow with the viewers during live sessions.
Additionally, we will be hiring 2 full-time Live Operators and 1 part-time Live Operator on call as an alternate when an operator is unavailable.
COMMISSION
You will receive a 0.5-1.5% commission based on sales goals. Commission for this position is based on all live host sales. In contrast, live hosts’ commission is based on their own sales. We are still working out the exact details. Once finalized, we will update this description. We should be complete within a few days.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and analyze TikTok shop performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results
- From time to time, you will switch out with the live host when they need a quick break, and you will Showcase products live
- Must learn to provide effective feedback to others
- Adjust future shows based on learnings and continuously work to improve audience engagement
- Stay up-to-date with live selling tech news, equipment, and ways to improve each live
- Suggest new and innovative ways to attract more viewers
- Perform other job duties and support Live Host as needed
- Setup and manage OBS streams daily
- Be enthusiastic, willing to learn, and share knowledge with the team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Can work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Must be receptive to coaching, education, and constructive criticism
- Must be presentable with positive energy and body language
- Proficient with cameras, lights, and sound
- Passion for social media and all things tech
- Proficient in English for an English audience to clearly understand
- Prefer Film Degree/Film Experience
- Prefer Proven experience in operating and managing TikTok shop accounts
- Prefer an Excellent understanding of TikTok’s algorithms and trends
- All experience and skills can be a mix of schooling and real-world learning
- Able to pass a background clearance check

- Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work well with others
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to PRIORITIZE and work INDEPENDENTLY with minimal supervision
- Ability to self-start/finish projects
- Strong ability to multi-task and seamlessly move from project to project
