Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room Nurse - (OR RN)

Innovative care teams deliver optimal care to their patients at this cutting edge facility. You can expect to work on complex cases with a driven team of passionate Operating Room (OR) professionals, utilizing the best patient care models.
The role of the perioperative nurse / operating room nurse (OR RN) is to provide care for patients before, during, and after surgery or surgical procedures. The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant or operating room director with additional training. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field. Perioperative nurses work in every type of healthcare facil! ity, including hospitals, ambulatory or outpatient surgery cen! ters, and physician offices.
Required Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
1. Need to be strong in ortho and spine. ***
2. Must have at least 4 yrs experience***
3. F would like someone with a very STRONG ortho ***
4. Must have worked at least 2 travel contracts.....no exceptions per manager***
5. Needs to have some Peds exp****
