POSITION SUMMARY:
The QA Analyst â€" Software/Hardware will be responsible for the verification and validation of the product design and to ensuring the internal products are thoroughly tested to achieve maximum quality standards.

QA Analyst reports directly to the Director of Software Development.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field preferred, AS degree acceptable

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years experience in software and hardware testing roles
  • Detail oriented an! d persistent
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of SDLC and quality assurance test methodology
  • Able to identify and tackle the technical issues
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Programming knowledge
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, and Visio
  • Knowledge of various operating systems and browsers
  • Desire to learn new skills, take initiative and be self-motivated
Position Responsibilities: • Perform verification and validation testing of software and hardware from existing and new projects.

  • Responsible for the execution of Black box and White box testings for web based application and medical devices peripheral testing.
  • Test from existing test cases or test plans and write test cases from specifications based on direction from Quality Assurance team leads.
  • Assists QA lead in creating the test cases or test plans.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance leads to uphold QA ! standards or best practices.
  • Assist with unit testing, system testing, regression testing, performance, and load testing to ensure the application is delivered as high quality products
