RN-PACU/SDS

Description: Fairview Health Services is hiring RN-PACU/SDS right now, this position will be placed in Minnesota. More details about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Comprehensive pre-post op Nursing care of surgical patients. All ages. Some duties include: admissions, post-anesthesia recovery phase1 and 2, discharges, patient and family education, assisting MDA's with blocks.
Flex between! PACU and Same Day Surgery.
Job Qualifications:
Current RN MN license or by start date.
Requires ability to provide written validation of current ACLS competency or ability to obtain written validation within 6 months of hire based on employee's role. Requires ability to provide written validation of current basic life support competency or ability to obtain written validation within 30 days of hire.
Requires
Past critical care/pacu/ER RN work experience. Must have strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse population. Current working computer skills. Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages.
Physical demands: Sitting, standing, walking, lifting-max 35lbs, push/pull-max. 35 lbs, balance, stooping/crouching, grasping, writing, finger dexterity/keyboarding, reaching, color vision, operate machinery, physical presence at work
