RN-Pediatric Unit

Description: Fairview Health Services is at the momment seeking for RN-Pediatric Unit right now, this position will be placed in Minnesota. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care of peds patients (infant to young adult) with a wide variety of medical and post-su! rgical diagnoses. Family centered patient care and ability to apply this to nursing practice. Understands normal pediatric growth and development in children. The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure and professional practice guidelines. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Job Qualifications:
Current MN Licensure as a registered nurse or by start date. Requires ability to provide written validation of current basic life support competency or ability to obtain written validation within 30 days of hire.
ENPC or PALS preferred or must be willing to obtain upon hire.
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in an in-patient pediatric setting. Can be inpatient or outpatient pediatric setting.
Cannot consider new grads for this opening.
Must be able to work in a team environment and be co! mfortable using computers and may float to mom/baby , adult cl! uster
