Assists the Nurse Manager with assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care t! o meet the mission and goals of family centered care & service excellence for assigned unit. Assists Nurse Manager with planning, directing, implementing and evaluating orientation, educational and staffing/budget activities for the unit. Supervises nursing personnel, monitors daily staffing and creates an environment of collaborative teamwork that maximizes productivity. Serves as role model in patient care delivery, leadership and quality assurance monitoring. There will be mutiple positions in order to provide 24 hour coverage during weekdays. Weekends as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Nursing Minimum of 3-5 years of current clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of 2 years management, leadership or charge nurse experience.
