The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the well being and nursing care of all residents assigned to him or her during his or her shift. He or she delivers care to clients following the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The RN effectively interacts with clients and provides information on health maintenance and disease prevention and provides case management with clients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
The ideal candid! ate is a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, holds a ! current unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse, and has at least one year of experience with home health experience preferred. In addition, he or she must have a current certification in CPR, a copy of an updated physical (based on state requirements) and reliable transportation. Effective oral and written skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
