Allergy Nurse RN- ENT

Job Description:
- Perform allergy testing as ordered by the physician
- Prepare and give allergy injections
- Process sublingual immunotherapy orders
- Prepare dilutional extracts for allerg y testing and mixing trays
- Prepare individual serum vials
- Schedule allergy testing and SLIT evaluations
- Patient education regarding allergies and allergy treatment
- Maintain EMR regarding clinical services and charges
- Telephone triage of allergy questions for Oakdale ENT patients
- Assess patient’s status and respond to reactions
- Write allergy evaluations for patients on SCIT (injections) and SLIT (sublingual)
- Maintain allergy department (equipment, space and supplies)
- Other duties as assigned by management
Job Qualifications:
- Allergy Nurse experience; ENT preferred
- Practice Management System Experience Required; NextGen preferred
- Electronic Health Record Experience Required; AllMeds preferred
- Establish and maintain effective communication and excellent customer service skills
- Communicate and work effectively within a team environment
Required license or certification:
- Minnesota RN license
Required education:
- BSN or ADN
