Responsibilities
Consist of but are not limited to:
Understanding, implementing, and managing new pool work flows for Rx Renewals
Managing Rx Renewal Requests from remote location with traditional, evening, and Saturday hours
Follow standard, evidence-based protocols, and keep the provider informed of the plan
Provide focused Rx renewal work to improve turn around time
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Current MN RN License
5 years of general nursing experience
3-5 years nursing experience in ambulatory or an appropriate specialty area preferred
Computer, keyboard, and Microsoft Office familiarity necessary
BLS required
Medical Terminology required
Skills:
Strong, confident leadership skills required
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
Think outside of the box
Provide clear communication (both written & verbal) with staff, physicians, and leadership
Ability to multitask and lead through change
RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility.
