Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Allina's Abbott Northwestern Hospital, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units. Res! ponsibilities With expert understanding of sourcing team deliv! erables, continually assess existing practices for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improved work load balancing, prioritization, and resource allocation Lead cross functional teams for the development of common workflow, policies and procedure Support portfolio teams in the development and monitoring of project plans and timelines Expiring contract calendars Modality assessment calendars Equipment Service Vendor Management Activities Develop and oversee strategic supplier performance management program Develop and implement methods to measure end-user satisfaction and solicit end-user insight/recommendations to improve processes and deliverable Other projects and duties as assigned Act as Sourcing team representative on the Allina Lawson Operations Team (A LOT) Develop and monitor appropriate qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure progress toward goals, productivity and throughput.
Develop data management tools (or develop exper! tise to use existing data management tools) to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall effectiveness Establish staff training opportunities, develop training tools/documents, lead training activities and evaluate staff proficiency in tactical skills on-line bid tools to support faster contract cycles “New Product Request†(NPR) for physician preference items Stream-lined nursing product evaluation forums and processes Qualifications Education, Experience & Skills: Bachelors degree in business, healthcare, or related field Minimum 3 years previous supervisory experience preferred Proven ability to lead and manage people and projects Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation) Excellent technical writing skills Excellent problem solving skills Effective time management and organizational skills High level of aptitude and demonstrated success in the field of process improvement High level of aptitude in spreadsheets, databases, reporting/analytics, an! d presentation software Demonstrated success in developing and implemen! ting process improvements Supply Chain Management/Purchasing experience desired ERP system experience, preferable Lawson software, desired Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Full time position 40 hours per week Day hours 8A-5P Non Contract Location/Community Information Minneapolis boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake, golf course, or in an adjoining suburb.
