Description:
Review medication orders issued by physician or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed, assuring that all orders are filled and labeled (including secondary labels) properly.
Review patient drug regime for potential interactions, interferences or incompatibilities and notify physician or staff nurse as appropriate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD. without prior board action
Minnesota state Pharmacist License
Prior hospital experience Required
Strong communication/people skills - team player
Self-motivated; detail oriented â€" organizational skills!
Computer proficiency
Ability to meet the physical and! mental abilities of the job as outlined in the job description
