Job Description
The Obstetrics/Gynecology Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin, MN is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician. The Mayo Clinic Health System of Austin is an integrated multi-specialty medical center with a staff of 70+ physicians serving an 80 bed hospital and busy outpatient practice. We also have clinics locat! ed in Adams, Blooming Prairie, Grand Meadow, and LeRoy, MN. Th! e Medical Center recently completed a $28 million dollar expansion and renovation, in line with the institutional thrust to provide state-of-the-art care in Southern Minnesota.

Practice Description:

• 70 Physician multi-specialty group including Hospitalist Program
• 8 Clinic locations with large Physician referral base of 55,000
• 80 bed community hospital
• Rotating 1:4 Call Schedule; M-F schedule
• Full spectrum of OB/GYN services offered (no robotics) with specialty consult by MFM, REI, Urogynecology and Oncology in Rochester.
• Obstetrics performed by Obstetricians with no back up call to Family Medicine Providers.
• Approximately 400 deliveries per year
• 1.5 FTE Nurse Practitioners in OB/GYN Clinic
