THE ROLE

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and strong communicator to join the People Operations and Programs team based in Los Angeles, CA. The People Operations Coordinator plays a vital role within our team, supporting relevant projects that impact the employee experience, people operations, and the programs we provide – including learning and development.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has human resources knowledge with solid administrative and organization skills; they are task-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment, coupled with the potential and desire to develop and grow in the HR people operations space.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Coordinate assets and materials for HR-related communications and resources

  • Provide employee data support: pull reports, audit, and analyze data for various projects and surveys

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and trainings as necessary, help organize and distribute relevant materials

  • Admin employee rosters, employee feedback, and materials for various employee programs

  • Assemble, organize, and archive (when applicable) team files

  • Assist with updating resources and materials distributed by the People Operations & Programs team

  • Support with administrating the central learning function by answering employee questions, help organize and prioritize stakeholder asks

  • Support with documenting team SLAs with stakeholders

  • Coordinate vendor orders and manage invoicing while maintaining accurate budget tracking for department

  • Help answer employee questions across various channels

  • Support with New Employee Orientation logistics, including name plate distribution and new hire gifts.

  • Assist with keeping information on company internal SharePoint site current

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field

  • 1-3 years of HR and/or People Operations experience in a multi-unit company

  • Strong Excel knowledge and intermediate overall Microsoft Office/Suite proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Experience with communication platforms (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)

  • Resourceful, able to problem-solve, support employee Q/A, and navigate uncertainty to find solutions

  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing culture

  • Holds a passion for supporting employees at scale with a service mindset

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid role (going into our Beverly Hills office 2-3 days per week)

  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills are a must

  • Ability to be strategic, analytical, and operational

  • Capable of maintaining a positive attitude through challenging situations

  • Project management experience a plus

  • Workday knowledge preferred

The expected compensation for this position in California is:

$23.08 USD - $28.85 Hourly
